Detrace is OSINT. Public, open-source intelligence — the same surface a journalist, fraud analyst, or security researcher already works with. The rules below aren't fine print, they're the model's posture.
Who Detrace is for

What Detrace refuses
- • Doxxing private individuals or revealing home addresses
- • Stalking, harassment, or coordinated targeting
- • Hacking, credential stuffing, account takeover prep
- • Surveilling minors or vulnerable populations
- • Targeting people based on protected characteristics
- • Anything illegal in the requester's jurisdiction
Public ≠ permissionless
The model treats "publicly available" as the floor, not the ceiling. Even when data is technically reachable, Detrace weighs whether surfacing it serves a legitimate investigative purpose — and declines when it doesn't.
How your data is handled
- • Conversations are stored per-account so you can pick up where you left off
- • Investigations are private to your account — never shared or used to train models
- • You can export or wipe any thread at any time
- • No third-party trackers in the console
The deal
You bring lawful intent. Detrace brings methodology, source coverage, and a calibrated brief. If a request crosses the line, the model will explain why and offer the closest lawful alternative — not silently refuse, not silently comply.
By using Detrace you agree to use it only for lawful, ethical OSINT. Misuse can result in suspension and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.
